Has it really been 2 years since I started this blog? Obviously, I never kept up with it but we'll see if I can do better this time. A lot has happened in the past 2 years. Mainy this..

It's crazy to think that Riley is 10 months old already. It doesn't seem possible that in just 2 short months, she will be a year old. And with that, it means that we have gone 10 whole months without getting a full night's sleep. Yes, she is still waking up at night. Thankfully we have her down to only waking up once a night and hopefully we can get her to sleep through the night before she turns 1. She's such an easy-going little girl who just loves to follow her big sister around, which is why I am sure she started walking already. She just has to try to keep up with Makenzie!

Makenzie has continued to keep us on our toes. She never ceases to amaze us with some of the things she says. Her teachers better start preparing themselves for when she starts kindergarten in August. She is in pre-school right now and is loving it. Her teachers tell us that she is the smartest one in the class. I know, I know. They probably tell everyone that, but I really think it's the truth about her. She is a sweet and sassy little girl who is full of energy. Seriously, this girl never stops! But she fills our life with a ton of laughter. Not a day goes by that we don't laugh at something crazy that she has said or done.

Jeremy continues to work as the Asst. AD at CSU-Pueblo. Work keeps him pretty busy throughout the school year. We are looking forward to summer so things can slow down for him a bit. He loves what he does though and is always doing anything he can to help the student athletes. Luckily, Makenzie loves going to all the athletic events, so we spend a lot of nights/weekends attending the games. I'm sure Riley will grow up loving to go as well.

Anyway, that's all I have time to write for now. Hopefully I can be a a little better about getting on here to update. I may have to pull Jeremy in to help a little too!
